Congratulations to one of our staff, Ossie Glover, who recently won a promotion to Lieutenant. He is now the Commanding Officer of the Plymouth Royal Marines Voluntary Cadet Corps. We are very pleased for him, and proud of his continuing links with the armed forces

Buckingham Palace have announced today that Battling On has won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services. This is known as the MBE for volunteering and is one of the highest awards within the voluntary sector. We are incredibly proud of all the hard work our young people and veterans have put in to make this award thoroughly deserved.

We were established to support members of the British Armed Forces who struggle to readjust to civilian life

The courage and devotion of our forces is recognised without doubt. However, it has also been recognised that some service personnel find it difficult to settle back into civilian life after leaving the forces.

Battling On was established to support members of the British Armed Forces who have retired from the services and are struggling to readjust to civilian life.
