Cornwall Community Foundation
The Cornwall Community Foundation’s mission is to inspire local giving to meet local needs. The CCF aims to make sustainable funding available to address disadvantage and build strong communities by promoting effective philanthropy. Since 2003 the CCF has invested £7m in 4,000 community projects in
Cornwall Community Foundation has supported Battling On with grant funding for several projects.

Armed Forces Covenant
We, the undersigned, commit to honour the Armed Forces Covenant and support the Armed Forces Community. We recognise the value Serving Personnel, both Regular and Reservists, Veterans and military families contribute to our business and our country.

The Zone
‘The Zone offers a wide range of information, advice and support for 13 - 25 year olds, including support with housing, mental health and sexual health.’
The Zone refers young people into the Battling On programme and provides them with on-going support.

Careers South West
Battling On is working in partnership with Careers South West on the Skills for Young People project, where young people are given the opportunity to gain a qualification while increasing their confidence and self-esteem.

European Social Fund
In partnership with Careers South West, funding the Skills for Young People project.
In partnership with Petroc, part funding the Experience Work project.
Also in partnership with Petroc College and jointly funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Petroc
Battling On is working in partnership with Petroc College on the Empowering Enterprise project, a flexible programme to help 18-24 year olds develop their employability and life skills. This project is jointly funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
Battling On is also working in partnership with Petroc College on the Experience Work project, which aims to support young people into sustainable employment, education or training. This project is part-funded by the European Social Fund.


The Lighthouse Community Centre
The Lighthouse Community Centre (LCC), based in Liskeard, currently runs a project distributing food parcels around the Caradon area. The project focuses mainly on vulnerable people affected by the COVID lockdowns, and currently delivers to approximately 120 adults and children per week.
The food deliveries began in March, and the LCC may look to continuing the project even after COVID lockdowns have past. They are always willing to take donations.

China Fleet Country Club
Set in 180 acres of exquisite countryside, on the cusp of Devon and Cornwall, China Fleet is one of the South West’s leading country clubs. Just 15 minutes from Plymouth’s city centre, sitting on the stunning Tamar estuary, it provides the perfect opportunity for a break away from suburban life.
China Fleet is partnering with Battling On to provide work experience opportunities for veterans on our Inspiring Lives programme.

Positive Pathways Programme
Part of the Veterans’ Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund, the Positive Pathways programme funded projects that develop and run activities supporting the mental health and wellbeing of ex-Forces.

Pentreath
Pentreath Ltd. exists for people living with mental health and emotional difficulties. We offer support to help people believe in their own potential and achieve their vocational goals, whatever challenges they face.
Pentreath is an award-winning charity that was founded in 1990 and offers a unique approach to support. Many of our team have lived experience and our projects are designed with recovery as a focus.
Many of the young people who benefit from the Battling On programme have been referred to us by Pentreath.
