Remembrance 2021 at Merryhue Farm

Veterans Head Down to Halton Quay for Fishing Fun

This week, our Veterans, led by fishing fanatic Bernie Woodruff, journeyed down to Halton Quay for a fishing adventure at the Tamar River. Ranging from experienced to beginner, the event went down like the most glorious fish supper!

Les Medus caught two fish and a crab, and though no other catches were made, it was good fun for everybody!

Battling On at Tatton Park Flower Show

In July, several Battling On staff went to Manchester to attend the Tatton Park Flower Show. Kenny Raybould, our master Horticulturalist, had put together designs for the Fleurs de Villes portion of the show. He put together a Tamar landgirl, Barbara, and she went on a grand trip to the north!

This three-part video series documents Barbara's arrival to Merryhue farm, all the way up to show day! We hope you enjoy the journey as much as we did.
