Soldiering On Awards 2018

This year Battling On has two nominations which have made it through to the finals of the Soldiering On Awards. The Connell Family have been nominated for the Family Values Award for their work in supporting veterans at Merryhue Farm since 1952. Battling On is a finalist in the Forces in Mind Trust Working Together Award.

On February 8th we attended the finalist's reception at the House of Lords, hosted by General the Lord Dannatt, where our director Nikki Markham gave an inspiring speech about the impact that winning a Soldiering On Award can have.

The Awards Ceremony will take place at the Park Plaza Hotel in London on April 20th. Good luck to everyone.

Welcome to Battling On

We were established to support members of the British Armed Forces who struggle to readjust to civilian life

The courage and devotion of our forces is recognised without doubt. However, it has also been recognised that some service personnel find it difficult to settle back into civilian life after leaving the forces.

Battling On was established to support members of the British Armed Forces who have retired from the services and are struggling to readjust to civilian life.
