The Dartmoor Walk | Veterans' Day Out

Our veterans are often given the opportunity to go for walks on Dartmoor. Here, we document one of the expeditions!

Remembrance 2021 at Merryhue Farm

Like last year, Battling On erected a Remembrance display in the fields of Merryhue Farm. Our veterans and students worked hard to make sure that it was a worthy site to perform a Remembrance service. This video documents the construction of the display and the service that we held.

Welcome to Battling On

The courage and devotion of our forces is recognised without doubt. However, it has also been acknowledged that some service personnel find it difficult to settle back into civilian life after leaving the forces.

Using eco based interventions, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and peer camaraderie, Battling On supports military veterans by providing a safe, empathetic and non-judgmental environment. We host a number of activities predominantly designed and led by veterans, operating onsite at Merryhue Farm on Thursdays and Fridays.
